In Supply Network Operations at P&G, we are uniquely positioned to see the Supply Chain from end-to-end – starting with our materials through the touch point of our brands with shoppers in the market. We are both the “voice of the customer” for supply and the integrator across the Company’s disciplines. You can start your career in one of 15 different diverse work areas within P&G that comprise our end-to-end operation – plan the demand and/or supply into the market; work to create or execute the physical design of our supply networks around the world; serve as the vital daily interface with our customers and suppliers; or lead the efforts to define and deliver new breakthroughs in value creation with these partners.

Hannah’s story As part of the Supply Network Operations department (or Product Supply as it is more commonly known), I sit within a team responsible for supply and forecasting of our brands Oral B, Pringles and Duracell. I have the opportunity to work with multiple overseas manufacturing plants along with local major retailers. I interact with these stakeholders regularly to provide a realistic business outlook for supply in addition to ensuring there is sufficient stock incoming to support the business growth. In Product Supply, we own responsibility for the processes that support the movement of materials, goods, and cash between P&G, its facilities and those of our customers and suppliers. Product Supply is probably the most diverse department at P&G. Opportunities are available in areas such as logistics, supply/forecasting, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance and even engineering. This diversity means chances to build a wide set of skills and a career that can lead you in many directions. So far, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles in both Sydney and Melbourne. No matter where your interests lie, P&G provides extensive learning both on-the-job and through our corporate training programs. Your development is a priority to ensure you are successful and able to build your career to where you want it to be. |

A key factor that first attracted me to P&G was it’s sheer size and presence. It truly is a global company and this is brought to life for me through the exposure I receive to such a broad international team across all different functions that work together to ensure our products reach and meet the needs of our consumers. It is truly an experience that not only challenges me everyday but leaves me with a sense of achievement for the work that I do.
