Finance & Accounting plays a pivotal role in the development of our business here at P&G. Finance & Accounting is unique within Procter & Gamble in that we work across every area of the business, both domestically and globally, leading business partners in the understanding and application of financial concepts and techniques. The primary focus of our career development efforts in Finance & Accounting is to develop financial mastery and leadership skills since that is where we contribute the most to the business. Finance & Accounting can also be a career path to General Management, with that opportunity being offered to some of our best Finance & Accounting managers at the appropriate time in their career.

Sam’s story As a Financial Analyst I work on multi-million dollar customers to collaboratively build both their business and that of P&G. Through strategic planning and competitive understanding, I help to set financial goals at the corporate and business unit level. Our Finance and Accounting department plays a strategic leadership role in all our decision-making, as well as managing P&G’s financial and accounting affairs to maximise long-term profits, cash flow, and total shareholder return. |

It’s the sheer number of opportunities that attracted me here. P&G boasts an international network, allowing for a multitude of roles and experiences across wide-ranging and varied locations. The effort P&G puts into its people is there for all to see. If you perform well, you’ll always be considered for advancement. P&G focuses on developing its own talent first and foremost, rather than looking externally. Being part of a very successful set up for a new global customer was definitely a career high so far. Yes it was hard work, but the rewards were like nothing I’ve experienced before.
